As Care Manager, Geraldine leads the team of carers on the ground. As well as carrying out client consultations and producing their bespoke care plans, Geraldine is is a key point of contact with families throughout their time with Caring Hands.
Geraldine qualified as a learning disability and mental health nurse in 1991 before working for many years in a five-bed specialist unit for adults with complex needs. In 2010 she completed a social work degree at UCLan, after recognising how closely linked health and social care are, before joining the team at Caring Hands in the summer of 2015.
Geraldine’s passion is people and she loves working in a role which puts her experience and expertise in both health and social care to good use for the benefit of Caring Hands clients.
